Frequently asked questions
ELE Tenancy Cleaning are committed to being upfront and transparent about how we do business. We hope that you'll find your question answered below. If not, please do not hesitate in getting in touch on 020 8088 3405.
I live in Ilford, would you come to my area to do a spring clean?
Yes, we would love to come and undertake a spring clean for your property. We cater for clients across Redbridge, East London, Havering, Barking and Dagenham and Brentwood.
I suffer from allergies and only use cleaning products that are eco-friendly. What type of products do you use?
It is always our aim to provide the best clean possible for our clients and that means using eco-friendly cleaning products. The results from these mild, yet effective, cleaning products are clean properties throughout Essex and East London.
So, I don’t need to provide you with my cleaning products? Do you bring your own?
Dependent upon the reason for our visit to your home, we will use our own cleaning materials and products. However, we will use your vacuum and mop/bucket so please be sure to have those items on-hand. Don’t worry if you forget – we’ll make sure that we remind you.
Is there anything I need to do before the cleaners come?
You don’t need to do anything special before our cleaners arrive at your property – other than letting us in! Other than that, we ask that you let us know if you have pets in the house (to ensure the safety of or our cleaners) and we also recommend clearing away important, personal belongings.
Are you happy if I stay in the property whilst you’re there?
Of course! We understand that having strangers in your home can take some getting used to. Once we gain your trust, we can let ourselves out and lock up before we go.
I have a dog and two cats. Will having pets deter you from cleaning my property properly?
We welcome you letting us know that you have pets, so that we can make our cleaners aware. If you feel that they will be bothered by our presence in your home, you may want to take them for a walk or let them out.
How do you price for a job?
In order to be up front and transparent, we have listed our cleaning prices. Our prices are inclusive of VAT and based on a minimum spend of £50 plus VAT.
Which payment methods do you take for your cleaning services?
Bank transfers, debit and credit cards are accepted methods of payment. However, if you wish to pay by bank transfer, we will require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. If you cancel your appointment, within 24 hours, your deposit will be fully refundable.
I have a 3 bedroom house and require an end of tenancy clean next week. Will you invoice me after the work has been carried out?
No, we will invoice you prior to the work has been carried out.
Sometimes I’m called away at short notice for work and may not be around to let the cleaners in. Would it be ok to cancel that appointment?
We accept that sometimes, life gets in the way, and that you may need to cancel your appointment. To ensure that we have time to alert our staff and change our rota, we will need at least 48 hours notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours to the appointment, then we will charge you a percentage of the monies already paid.
If I am not happy with the services provided by your company, how do I complain?
We understand that not all cleans are made equal and whilst we always strive to give you 100% perfection, sometimes, something can get missed. If you find yourself in this situation, please let us know within 24 hours so that we can return and rectify the situation.
Are your workers insured against accidents?
Our professional team of cleaners go into every job treating each property as though it were their own. This results in cleans that are executed with care. In the event of an accident occurring in your property, we are covered for claims of up to £10,000,000. This includes public and products liability, employer’s liability and loss of keys.
My usual end of tenancy cleaning firm has let me down and I need someone ASAP. Can you help?
You can trust us to positively respond to emergencies like these. We have a reliable pool of staff which means that we can have some at your property within 24-48 hours. Please call us today to arrange your end of tenancy clean.
Do you provide a same day cleaning service for all of your services?
We will always try and respond to same day emergencies, but cannot give a guarantee that this can happen. Because we work with a booking in schedule, we usually require 2 days’ notice in order to provide a suitable cleaner for your requested day and time.
Is your cleaning staff CRB checked?
Yes! We want our business to thrive and believe that this will only happen if we hire the best cleaners in East London and Essex. As a result, we ensure that they have a full CRB check and in-house training to maintain high standards of cleaning.
My upholstery cleaner is late and I have to go out soon. Can I reschedule?
Our cleaners will always endeavour to arrive at your property on time. However, sometimes traffic or poor weather can hinder this from happening. If one of our cleaners is running late, you will be contacted as soon as possible and told of their new time of arrival. If you’re unable to wait, we will reschedule the appointment.
Our property really needs a spring clean, but I’m out working during the week. Can someone come over at the weekend?
Whilst most of our appointments take place during the week, we understand that this is not always suitable for everyone. So, get in touch if you require an expert cleaner at the weekend.
Our excellent cleaning services are delivered to customers in Essex and East London. We know how to get the shiniest shine and the brightest effect on all types of surfaces and when you see our results - we're certain that you'll agree!
